New clients are constantly telling me that they have purchased many organizing solutions, but nothing seems to work. They spend lots of money on unused and unnecessary products that frankly, are just not the right solution.
I always say that "you can not buy a solution, until you know what the solution is for!"
A few examples:
1. Are you looking for a way to organize your shoes. Well, do you have 12 pair or 60 pairs? Once you can define this, you can purchase the appropriate storage unit.
These are 3 of my favorites:
I use clear shoe boxes to place out of season and special occasion shoes on the shelf above the hanging clothes in the closet.
They can be stacked to maximize the storage space.
2. Do you need to keep papers on your desk? How many topics do you have, such as "to do", bills to be paid, activities, reading, etc.. The answer will lead you to the solution with the proper amounts of slots or space. These systems can hold the items or marked folders.

A note: I do not recommend trays that stack. Papers get lost and are not easily accessible.
3. Are you storing items on a shelf, but they keep falling over and are always a mess? It could be purses, cutting boards, binders, anything.
